It’s frustrating to learn that in 1941,

1. There existed overnight rail service between New York City and Montréal.
2. One could board this train in Stamford, CT.
3. The trip between Stamford, CT and Montréal was faster than the current Amtrak Adirondack’s trip from Penn Station to Montréal.
4. You could get sleeper car service on this route.
